Η Shaya με καταγωγή από τη Βενεζουέλα και τη Δανία, γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Στοκχόλμη, ενώ αναζήτησε την καριέρα της στην Θεσσαλονίκη.

Την γνωρίσαμε από τη συμμετοχή της στο τηλεοπτικό show POP STARS και στο 5μελές girl band Hi-5!

Shaya Hansen

Shaya Hansen is one of the most well known pop singers in Greece. Her career started when she took part in the POP STARS TV Show that formed the all-girl band "Hi-5".
The girl band was signed to Warner Music Greece and released 2 albums and 3 singles, they performed all around Greece and their concerts were sold out. After the band’s break up, Shaya kept continued her career but as a solo artist collaborating with great Greek artists and took part in concerts and recordings.

In summer 2008, Shaya collaborated with Stavento for the major smash hit and highly-acclaimed single “Prin se gnwrisw(ta kakws keimena)” that gave her her first award. The video for the song won the ‘Best hip hop track’ award in the Mad Video Music Awards 2009.

Few months later, she collaborated with Kostas Martakis for the song ‘Mikroi Theoi’ that was included to the soundtrack of Disney’s movie ‘High School Musical 3’.

She collaborated with Mark F. Angelo for his solo album, “Play.Pause.Stop.Rewind”, with the songs “Far From Everything”-the theme song of MAD Video Music Awards 2010 by Vodafone- and “My Radio”-the official jingle of MAD radio 106,2.

In September of 2010, 2 new versions of “Far From Everything” released, an acoustic version by Mark F. Angelo and a club remix by the famous Belgian producer, Emanuel Kosh. Both remixes pushed the track to higher positions at the music charts.

In December 2010, Shaya will share the stage of Gazoo at Gkazi, Athens, with Onirama, Myronas Stratis and Mark F. Angelo.
At the same time her first solo single was released and the name of the song is “In Your Eyes”. A few months later, March of 2011, new remixes of this track released, an acoustic and a deep house version by Slick Beats.

In January 2011, her first solo album released in collaboration with MY Group and Sony Music, named "Resurrection" with 12 unique tracks

In only few months, Shaya managed to become a major fashion icon for the local pop scene and was featured in the most popular lifestyle magazines in Greece, in editorial shootings and interviews

In June 2011, Shaya performed live at MAD Video Music Awards (VMA). Her set included her hits "In Your Eyes", "Far From Everything" and her barand new single "If Only"
During the summer, Shaya went on tour all around Greece, alongside Mark F. Angelo, in a series of very successful live shows

Shaya and Mark F. Angelo won the MTV BEST GREEK ACT award, at MTV EMA 2011 (Belfast)!
Together, they also opened for David Guetta, at an open-air show in Montenegro, summer 2011!

At the end of 2011 and at the start of 2012, Shaya also starred in "Dancing on Ice", the famous British show hosted in Greece by the leading TV channel ANT1, while at the same time she released her 3rd single "Lene", both in English and Greek (the English version was titled "Watch Out"

In May 2012, her current single is "Summer's All Around" (with HouseTwins & SlickBeats), which is the theme song for the summer 2012 tv campaign of Carroten brand!
